Overview
The new Mavic 3 CINE drone from DJI is among it&#8217;s latest additions to the Mavic series of drones with a dual camera system, more flight time, improved sensors and omnidirectional obstacle sensing. This drone comes with an internal storage of a whooping 1TB SSD and adds the ability to use the Apple ProRes 422 HQ codec.
&nbsp;
The dual camera system is made up of a 20MP wide-angle camera with a 4/3&#8243; CMOS sensor from Hasselblad company as well as a 12MP telephoto camera with a 1/2&#8243; CMOS sensor, 28x hybrid zoom and can shoot upto 4K video. The 12MP camera can be used to scout out locations in Explore Mode or together with the 20MP camera for dynamic and cinematic footage.

The wide-angle camera can enable the user to record up to 5.1K in video resolution and DCI 4K at 120fps. Furthermore, it has an adjustable aperture from f/2.8 to f/11 and 12.8 stops of dynamic range. This means that it can work well in lowly lit conditions with less noise. Additionally, it has in vision sensor-based VDAF focusing and a 84 degrees Field of View, thus, you can capture sweeping, atmospheric shots or track and focus on subjects with ease. To add on to this drone&#8217;s powerful imaging abilities, there is the inclusion of the 10-bit D-Log Color Profile and Hasselblad&#8217;s Natural Color Solution (NCS) for accurate and natural color reprodution.

This drone is combined with the FPV Goggles v2 and is equipped with a maximum speed of over 87 mph, and acceleration from 0 to 62 mph in just two seconds. This drone promises to provide you with a breathtaking experience. The remote in the box is a game controller style that many drone owners will be familiar with. It’s comfortable and has adjustable gimbals for feel and a few programmable switches. The DJI FPV Combo’s controller has several dedicated switches for the camera control and flight modes. Motion adds variety and dramatic effects to your footage. The DJI FPV drone can record 4K/60fps video at up to 120Mbps. This ensures crisp details which makes your content look clear and sharp.

The DJI FPV comes with 3 flight modes that is: N or Normal mode; This mode maintains altitude for the pilot and has obstacle detection / warning / avoidance features. In this mode, speed is limited and controls are somewhat simplified. The S or Sport mode also has altitude or position hold abilities but no longer brakes for obstacles and allows for much faster flight. M or manual mode is for seasoned pilots who are able to manually control the drone. This allows for maximum speed and maneuvering. All the modes have an emergency button which will halt the drone immediately. When the emergency button is held, it acts like a return button and your drone will return to its recorded home point automatically.

Overview
The DJI Air 2S Drone Kit with Remote Controller is a compact and easily foldable Unmanned Aerial Vehicle. It enables one to capture amazing aerial videos and images for work as well as for vacations with photography enthusiasts. Like most DJI drones, the Air 2S is easily operated using your smartphone and the Fly app from DJI. This is made possible when you fit your phone into the included remote controller.

This drone is fitted with the OcuSync 3.0 technology coupled with a 3-axis gimbal and four remote antennae, hence, you are able to get a live view that is also stable from your drone up to 12km away.

You can fly freely with the Air 2S or you can use MasterShots to automatically create content based on themed templates, FocusTrack modes to track subjects in various ways, QuickShot modes to perform automated flight maneuvers, or Hyperlapse modes for timelapse videos. Together, they can deliver pro-quality results while taking some of the complexities of aerial filming off of your shoulders. Results are made to look stunning thanks to the gimbal&#8217;s 1&#8243; CMOS sensor and 22mm wide-angle lens that&#8217;s capable of 20MP stills and up to 5.4K Ultra HD videos. As you fly, obstacle avoidance, geofencing, return-to-home, and DJI&#8217;s AirSense work to keep the Air 2S, bystanders, and other objects safe.

This drone also has AirSense which warns the drone&#8217;s pilot of nearby helicopters and airplanes that transmit ADS-B signals. Additionally, the GEO 2.0 feature uses geofencing to advise users of airspace restrictions.

Obstacle Sensing &amp; Avoidance
Obstacle sensing and avoidance when flying a drone is a critical aspect of accident prevention. In this sense, the Air 2S drone is equipped with sensors at the front, back, upwards and downwards. It also has the APAS 4.0 technology which reinforces the obstacle sensing and avoidance aspect for ease of flying in narrow such as through trees as well as in open fields.

Hyperlapse Modes
DJI Air 2S has four hyperlapse modes

Circle: With this, the drone flies around a subject generating a timelapse video.
Course Lock: This mode enables the drone to lock onto a subject and fly in a straight line as the gimbal tracks it, keeping it centered in frame.
Waypoint: Setup a flight plan with up to 5 waypoints. The Air 2S will automatically fly along the waypoints and record a timelapse video. The altitude, distance, and gimbal angle of each waypoint can be adjusted.
Free: This mode gives you complete freedom and manual control over the drone and gimbal.
FocusTrack Modes
ActiveTrack 4.0: Select a subject and the drone will track and keep it centered in the frame. It will then automatically fly and track the subject as it moves, keeping a safe distance and utilizing the Air 2S&#8217;s wide sensing range of its obstacle avoidance to protect itself in flight. If the subject is lost, the drone will automatically attempt to reacquire a lock. Spotlight 2.0: Select a subject and the drone will track and keep it centered in the frame, giving you the ability to pilot freely. POI 3.0: This will track a subject in a circle, based on a set radius and flight speed.
QuickShot Modes
While filming, you can choose to use either the Circle, Rocket, Dronie, Boomerang, Helix, or Asteroid modes for professional quality maneuvers.

MasterShots
Mastershots is an automated filming solution that enables the drone to follow your subject and automatically select 1 of 3 flight routes (Proximity, Landscape, or Portrait) based on the subject and its distance. The Air 2S drone will record a sequence of shots and edit them via a variety of preset themed templates you can choose with a single tap. If you&#8217;d like, you can also edit the footage, add audio, or subtitles.

Overview
The XA15 Full HD Camcorder from Canon is a run-and-gun camera that is suitable for event coverage, ENG, and independent and documentary filmmaking. This camera incorporates SDI, mini-HDMI, and composite outputs. It also features a 1/2.84&#8243;, 1920 x 1080 CMOS sensor that is capable of capturing videos at various frame rates up to 59.94p, including a 24p mode for a more cinematic feel. Integrated into it&#8217;s construction is a Canon 20x HD optical zoom lens with a 35mm equivalent zoom range of 26.8 to 576mm, and features an 8-bladed iris to render highlights in a more natural manner.

Another feature is Canon&#8217;s Digic DV 4 image processor. This high-speed image-processing engine powers Canon&#8217;s Dynamic IS (Image Stabilization) mode reducing image distortion over traditional up-down, left-right image stabilization by adding correction for camera roll in three axes. The power of the Digic DV 4 allows the camera to simultaneously encode your video to two different codecs and bit rates, allowing you to have web-ready versions of your master footage available as soon as you stop recording.

The XA15 features both a 3&#8243; OLED touch panel view screen with a 10,000:1 contrast ratio, and a color electronic viewfinder with 1,560,000 dots of resolution. The camera features full manual control and auto modes for exposure, focus, white balance, gain, and shutter speed. The camera provides professional features such as a pre-record buffer, peaking, zebra bars, color bars, and reference tone. The zoom speed is adjustable with variable, constant (with 16 different speed levels), fast, normal, and slow settings. The camera features a detachable top handle with zoom toggle, record start/stop, IR emitter, tally light, accessory shoe, external mic holder, two XLR connectors with phantom power, and manual audio level controls.With two built-in SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card slots, this camcorder allows you to record videos to media cards in both slots at the same time. This allows you to create an instant backup copy for archiving and data protection. You can also capture high-resolution AVCHD or MP4 video files on one card while creating a lower data rate MP4 more suitable for the web on the other card. When using two media cards and the camera is in Relay mode and one card becomes full, recording automatically switches to the other card.

Overview
The Canon EOS RP camera is a full-frame mirrorless digital camera that is relatively small compared to full-frame DSLR cameras. It is light and compact, making it quite portable and offers flexible imaging capabilities. Featuring a high-resolution 26.2MP full-frame CMOS sensor along with a DIGIC 8 image processor, both stills and UHD 4K video can be recorded using a broad sensitivity range, from ISO 100-40000, to suit working in a variety of lighting conditions. Continuous shooting is also supported at up to 5 fps for photographing moving subjects. The sensor also facilitates an advanced Dual Pixel CMOS AF system, with 4779 selectable on-sensor phase-detection points for quickly and accurately acquiring focus during stills and video operation.

Complementing the sensor and processor, the RP also sports a 2.36m-dot OLED electronic viewfinder along with a rear 3.0&#8243; 1.04m-dot vari-angle touchscreen LCD monitor for easier viewing from high and low angles. Additionally, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth allow for wireless remote camera control along with direct image sharing to linked mobile devices.

Canon RF Lens Mount
The EOS RP is fitted with the RF lens mount, which supports Canon&#8217;s line of RF-mount lenses. This mount is characterized by a wide 54mm diameter and short 20mm flange-back distance, which promotes the ability to design lenses that are both faster and smaller than their SLR equivalents. The mount also incorporates a 12-pin electronic contact system for more sophisticated autofocus and image stabilization capabilities. This mount design also lends full compatibility to existing EF and EF-S-mount lenses via a separately available EF-EOS R Mount Adapter.

Canon EOS C80 is a 6K Full-Frame Mirrorless Cinema Camera. It has a RF mount hence compatibility with Canon&#8217;s RF lenses is fast and reliable. The following features make it an ideal choice for solo operation as well as fast-paced capture: upgraded Dual Pixel CMOS AF II autofocus, triple ISO bases of 800, 3200, and 12,800 in log/raw, simultaneous 12G-SDI and HDMI video output and a motorized ND filter wheel. The C80 shares many of the specs found in the new EOS C400, like a full-frame 6K BSI sensor, triple ISO, and more. The C80 take everything you liked from the EOS C70 like its lightweight and compact design and combines it with everything you would want to have from the bigger EOS C400, like a full frame 6K resolution sensor, triple ISO, and newer recording formats.

With a 6K full-frame CMOS sensor that is back-illuminated, C80 is able to offer low noise while recording, great 4K imagery via 6K oversampling and increased sensitivity efficiency. The camera also has multiple recording formats. These are up to full-frame 6K30 Canon Cinema RAW Light LT, 4K60 in RAW LT and cropped S35 up to 4K30 in RAW ST. Slow and fast motion can be captured at rates up to UHD 4K120 in HEVC and AVC codecs. In 4:2:2 10-bit color you can record oversampled 4K 120p or 2K 180p with maximized detail.

This camera has an in-built thin motorized ND filter unit with up to 10 stops of neutral density. ND button controls are on the right side of the camera for quick exposure adjustments. For audio there are two mini-XLR input ports with phantom power and manual control dials. The camera supports 4-channel audio using dual mini-XLR ports, an internal stereo mic, and a 3.5mm mic input.

C80 offers Canon&#8217;s Log 2 and Log 3 gamma modes that allow for an expanded dynamic range with excellent tonal reproduction for highlights and in low-light areas of your images. 3D LUTs are also supported, this means color reproduction on external monitors and the camera&#8217;s LCD is accurate. The LCD screen has a tilting design and has built-in controls like focus peaking, waveforms, and more.

The Canon EOS C70 Cinema features a Super35 DG0(Dual Gain Output) which is able to capture nuanced images up to 16+stops of high dynamic range. The Canon C70 comes with an innovative DGO system combines two separate gain readings for each photodiode on the sensor which helps emphasize saturation in bright areas and lower any noise especially in dark areas. The C70 also comes with an RF mount which can be used with any RF lenses. The C500 Mark II spots a Canon EF mount and features an interchangeable lens mount system for optional switching to Cinema Locking AF or PL mount for an even wider range of glass you can use with this camera. For image processing, C500 Mark II uses a DIG!C DV 7 chip while its sensor provides for over 15 stops of dynamic range and dual pixel autofocus support.

Canon C500 Mark II internally records raw using the Canon Cinema RAW Light codec in 12- or 10-bit, or using the XF-AVC codec in 10-bit to CFexpress cards via two CFexpress card slots in the camera. It also has a built-in SD card slot that allows for 8-bit proxy recording in XF-AVC codes and JPEGs onto an SD card. A variety of gamma settings are available and they include Canon Log 2, Log 3 and a variety of color gamuts including Cinema BT.2020, DCI-P3, and legacy BT.709. When recording in-camera, 4K video has 4:2:2 sampling and 8-bit color depth, while Full HD 1080p footage has 4:2:0 sampling. Uncompressed Full HD 1080p video can also be saved via HDMI to an optional external recorder with 4:2:2 color sampling. 4K video is recorded using a central 4096 x 2160 area of the sensor at a 1.74x crop in order to record video with an ideal 1:1 pixel sampling ratio, while Full HD recording makes use of the entire full frame.

The EOS 4000D inherits an aging 18MP sensor that can trace its roots back to the EOS Rebel T2i / EOS 550D, which was released in 2010. The latest tech this is not.
&nbsp;
It&#8217;s a similar story with the DIGIC 4+ image processor used in both the EOS Rebel T100 / EOS 4000D and EOS 2000D. To put it in perspective, we&#8217;re now onto the eighth iteration of Canon&#8217;s DIGIC processor, although the latest EOS DSLRs are using DIGIC 7 chips. Native sensitivity remains the same at ISO100-6,400, expandable up to 12,800.
&nbsp;
The autofocus system is also pretty dated it&#8217;s the modest 9-point system that has been in Canon&#8217;s arsenal since 2009. And while pretty much every DSLR in the last five years or so has featured a 3.0-inch rear display, Canon has actually shrunk the LCD on the EOS 4000D down to 2.7 inches, with the resolution also taking a tumble, down to 230k dots. And don&#8217;t even think about touchscreen control.

The optical viewfinder delivers 95% coverage, which is pretty typical on a entry-level DSLR so, as we always warn, items worth paying particular attention to the edges of the frame when reviewing your images, as there&#8217;s a chance you&#8217;ll find unwanted elements creeping into you shots.
